Topic: What’s new in psychopharmacology? The last 5 years medication!

Learning Objectives:
- Review and interpret treatment guidelines.

 - Analyze clinical cases that highlight the didactic proportion of the program.
This lecture focuses on the newer medications (available over the last 5 years) for the treatment of psychiatric disorders. We will discuss pharmacology as it relates to newer treatments in depression, bipolar, ADHD, and psychotic disorders. Discussion includes patient selection, potential adverse effects, clinical experience, treatment combinations, and optimizing drug use.
